The Elk County Conservation District's mission is to promote sound environmental stewardship through leadership, education, and technical assistance for the benefit of the environment and future generations.

The Elk County Conservation District is soliciting bids from qualified Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) Operation and Maintenance Contractors to provide all necessary labor, transportation, and other duties to maintain and operate the Porcupine Run Lime Dosing Silos #1 and #2 in Benezette, PA.

Email the Watershed Technician, Sarah Love, at watershed@elkconservationdistrict.com for bid packets and/or any questions. Please mail or drop off sealed, paper bids to the following address:

Our goal at the Elk County Conservation District is to help the people of our communities and protect the natural resources found in our area. We want to help manage our sources with the concept of "conservation" being the focus. Overall, our members and staff are working for a sustainable future.
