Our Mission...

The Elk County Conservation District's mission is to promote sound environmental stewardship through leadership, education, and technical assistance for the benefit of the environment and future generations.

Our goal at the Elk County Conservation District is to help the people of our communities and protect the natural resources found in our area. We want to help manage our sources with the concept of "conservation" being the focus. Overall, our members and staff are working for a sustainable future.

What's Happening at the District?

The caterpillars have arrived!

Remember to check back here and on our Facebook page for regular updates on their progress!

Also, mark your calendar for the Elk County Fair (Aug. 5th - Aug. 9th). We will be there with our Monarch Butterflies, where you can see and release them in person!
